# Picaton > The consented profile layer that lets you be found by the right people — and the right AI. Many role-profiles, one account, published only on your terms. Picaton lets a person keep several role-based profiles under one account and publish any of them to a globally discoverable, semantically searchable directory that AI agents can read and act on via MCP. ## How agents should interact - Public profile pages live at https://picaton.com/@handle and contain a JSON-LD Person object. - Only published profiles exist publicly; unpublished/private profiles return 404. - To reach a person, use "Request an introduction" — it routes through a human-approval gate. Contact channels (phone, email) are never exposed publicly. - Structured/agent access is provided over MCP (see the platform docs). ## Privacy Only the published-card subset (name, headline, description, chosen public skills/links) is public. Personal address books, associations, and private notes are never published.
